The JR Cleaning Story

In 2011, two friends, Rachael and Julie, turned their love for tidy homes into a business. What started as cleaning houses for friends soon grew into a full-fledged company, thanks to word-of-mouth and their meticulous standards. Their big break came when a property manager trusted them with cleaning their flat block—a property JR Cleaning still takes care of today.

In 2013, Rachael’s partner Steve, a skilled carpet cleaner who was already running his own carpet cleaning business (SAB Cleaning), joined the team, helping the business expand into office cleaning, larger flat blocks, and end-of-tenancy services. Then in 2022, Rachael took over sole ownership and brought her sons into the business. With fresh energy and leadership, the new J R Cleaning & Sons flourished, becoming the trusted choice for estate agents in her area like Sheldon Bosley Knight.

J R Cleaning Today

Now, J R Cleaning & Sons focuses on delivering premium services, including training managers in inventory processes to perfect their end-of-tenancy cleaning. We ensure our team size matches the scope of the job, with Rachael understanding early on that some tasks are too big for one person. For our largest projects, we bring in teams of up to nine people to guarantee the job is completed in a single day without missing a detail. As part of our commitment to transparency, we take pictures of all our work so you can have full confidence that we deliver on our promises.

At JR Cleaning, our mission is to ensure everyone enjoys a clean and tidy space to live, work in, or move into. We believe successful cleaning requires three essential qualities: expertise, capability, and consistency.

Commercial Cleaning

We are experts at maintaining the cleanliness of communal areas by providing a friendly, reliable and account service. We offer multiple packages starting with Essential which accounts for all of the basics done perfectly and a little bit more. All the way up to our Platinum which ensures perfection all year round by combining experts from all of our other services.

Carpet Cleaning

Our carpet cleaners all hold NCCA approved qualifications, making them experts at all carpet types and capable to tackling any stain. We specialise in low moisture carpet cleaning. Which differs most carpet cleaners as we can be sure the carpets will be dry straight away making it easier to plan around. And using less water means our carpet cleaners are accustomed to the process used to clean the most delicate of carpets. From nylon backed laura ashley rugs, to chinese carpets from the last century our carpet cleaners can clean them all.

End of Tenancy and Deep Cleans

Our profession End of Tenancy service ensure the property is left spotless and up to the rigorous standards of inventory inspections. Our managers are themselves trained in inventories by TDS so that we have full confidence in their standards. We see ourselves as experts when it comes to helping tenants secure a stress free deposit return even with the pickiest estate agents, or at helping landlords get their properties market ready after they’ve suffered through a nightmare.

Oven Cleaning

Our oven cleaners take apart ovens to thoroughly clean all the individual components, all holding formal qualifications in oven cleaning we can ensure they have the expertise to work miracles – and we have many pictures of their transformations to prove it.
